Parts Technician

Position Details: Full Time/ Permanent

Location: Timmins, ON

Start Date: As soon as possible

 

Job Summary:

Timmins & New Liskeard Kenworth is looking to hire a Parts Technician to work out of our Timmins, ON facility. The successful candidate will be an integral part of our parts department, with an emphasis on providing superior customer service and quality products to our valued customers.
Job Responsibilities 

  • Actively engage and promote internal sales efforts

  • Provide superior customer service

  • Possess ability to effectively navigate and research within relevant computer programs

  • Utilize and promote our online parts counter program with customers

  • Assist customers in problem-solving  

  • Must invoice customers and receive payment accordingly 

  • Actively communicate with diverse suppliers to help with ordering internal stock and inventory

  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with shipping and receiving department

  • Periodically assist service department with ordering parts as needed

  • Any other tasks as required by the Manager

 

Qualifications:

  • Bilingualism considered to be an asset

  • Sales experience considered to be an asset

  • Proficient computer skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Superior interpersonal skills with proven ability to quickly build rapport with customers and suppliers

  • Commitment to upholding excellent customer service

  • Valid Driver’s license

  • Ability to work independently or within a team
