Shop Maintenance

Position details: Full Time / Permanent

Hours: 40 hours/week – Monday to Friday – 8 hr. shifts

Location: Timmins, ON

Start Date: As soon as possible

 

Job Summary

Timmins Kenworth is looking to hire a shop maintenance laborer to work out of our Timmins Branch.  The Successful candidate will be an integral part of our Timmins service department. They will be responsible for helping service technicians whenever needed and helping to maintain a safe, clean working environment for all dealership employees and customers

Job Responsibilities & Qualifications:​​​

• Maintain and clean technician stalls, service department and body shop floors.

• Cleans driveway and sidewalks, removing snow and debris as necessary.

• Washes shop truck, inside and out.

• Empties and cleans all trash receptacles, inside and outside.

• Removes all debris from lot.

• Cleans oil storage tanks according to prescribed procedures.

• Drains and disposes of used oil filters properly.

• Removes any old scrap parts from shop after checking with Parts Manager

• Assists technicians with oil and water spills, and with emptying drain tubs.

• Runs errands as directed by service manager or foreman.

• Maintain positive relationships with customers and co-workers.

• Other duties may be assigned.
